Getting the mobile app¶
The myblueboard mobile app is called mybb by myblueboard. It's free, and it's the easiest way to keep up with messages, payments and events.

Search the store for mybb by myblueboard if you'd rather find it manually. Searching for "myblueboard" alone may not surface it.
Signing in¶
Three things, and the third is the one people miss:
- Your email address — the same one you use on the website
- Your password — the same one
- Your organization's URL — something like
yourschool.myblueboard.com
The URL field is required
The app serves every organization using myblueboard, so it needs to know which one you belong to. Without the URL it can't find your account, no matter how correct your email and password are.
Your organization's URL is the web address you use to reach myblueboard in a browser.
Enter it without https:// — just yourschool.myblueboard.com. If you're not sure, check
any myblueboard email from your organization, or ask your director.
You need an account before you can sign in — the app doesn't create one. See Creating your account.
If you can't sign in¶
"Account not found" or similar. Nearly always the URL field. Check it for typos and make
sure it's your organization's address, not www.myblueboard.com.
Password rejected but it works on the website. Sign out and back in on the app. If it still fails, reset your password on the website and use the new one.
You never set a password. If your director created your account, you need the set-password link from your invitation email. Use Forgot password on the website if it's expired.
Your account isn't approved yet. Self-registered accounts can't sign in until a director approves them.
Notifications¶
The app can send push notifications for messages and announcements. Allow notifications when prompted — declining is the usual reason people miss updates their friends received.
If you declined and want them back, turn notifications on for mybb in your phone's settings; the app can't re-ask on its own.
