Results and exports

Open a form's results to see every response. Requires myForms Admin Access.

The results table

One row per submission, newest first, showing who submitted, when, and their answer to each question in the order the questions appear.

A running total shows how many responses you have — the number to compare against how many people you assigned it to.

Submissions from a public form show as "User not logged in", because there's no account behind them.

Downloading as CSV

Export the results as a CSV for a spreadsheet. The file is named after the form and the date, so repeated exports don't overwrite each other.

Columns are: #, Submitted By, Date, then one column per question.

Export when you need to sort, filter, cross-reference against a roster, or hand the data to someone without myblueboard access. Do it before you delete anything — a deleted form takes its responses with it.

The export gives you raw answers

The on-screen table tidies answers for display; the CSV contains what was actually submitted. That's what you want for a spreadsheet, but it means a multi-select answer looks slightly different on screen than in the file.

Chasing missing responses

myForms shows you what came in, not who's missing. To work that out, export the results and compare against the group you assigned it to.

Worth doing before you chase everyone: a general reminder to a whole section annoys the people who already responded, and they're the ones who respond to the next form too.

Closing a form

End form stops new submissions and edits. Results stay fully visible.

A form is accepting responses only when all three are true: not ended, not archived, and its publish date has passed.

Use it at a deadline. It's better than deleting or archiving, because the form and its responses remain in place — and a respondent arriving late sees that it's closed rather than a missing page.

Archiving

Archive hides a form from your active list without deleting it. Archived forms are counted separately on the dashboard, and can be unarchived at any time.

Archiving also stops responses — an archived form is not accepting submissions, including from anyone holding a direct link. Admins can still open it.

Archive at the end of a season once you've exported anything you need. Use End form instead when you want the form to stay visible with its results while refusing new responses; archiving removes it from view entirely.

Deleting

Deleting a form permanently deletes its responses. There's no undo and no recycle bin.

Export first. Archive instead, unless you're certain — an archived form costs nothing and answers the question you'll get next year about what people said.
